Your leaving has left within me emptiness,
A void, a vacuum, a feeling of loneliness.
Try as I might to fill this hole,
To be normal, to be whole,
Blamed someone else for not being true,
Hoping that they could somehow replace you,
I was searching for something that wasn’t there,
Trying to make something that could compare,
Everything I did was out of despair,
